The following are important areas of discipline and responsibility in the Messenger Service Internship. Please read them thoroughly and indicate your commitment in each area of the internship by giving your initials at the end.

1. I am aware of and will make attending the following time commitments a priority if I choose to commit to Messenger Service Internship, and will explain any conflicts with these dates to the Committee:

Reveal Night: Tuesday, March 8th
Messenger Dinner: TBD
Trainings: TBD (usually Tue nights before Annex, after Reveal Night)
Trip Debrief: Tentatively Sunday, September 11th

2. I will be available for the Messenger Dinner, to share. I will help with needed organizing and set-up for the event with Annex staff, and support as needed.

3. Following Messenger, I will participate in the trip debriefs, which includes a Sunday lunch, tentative for Sunday, September 11th.

4. I will modify any personal or social habits (i.e. behavior, appearance, etc) that may interfere with my Christian witness, at the discretion of the Messenger Committee and/or local leaders for my site.

5. I agree to travel with my teammates to and from any assignment as arranged by the Committee. Any variation in travel must be approved by the Committee prior to my departure. Every team flies out of Denver together, and if I am out of state leading up to departure, it is my responsibility to make arrangements and the necessary payment to be in Denver.

6. I understand that I am applying to a service internship. I agree to abide by the decisions prayerfully made by the Committee from the information gained through the entire application and vetting process. If I select more than one of the trip options, I will work in partnership with the Committee as they prayerfully choose a site for me.

7. I understand that I need to raise the financial amount for my designated trip from the support letters that I send under the coaching and encouragement of the Committee. I understand that all money raised above and beyond the required amount will be designated to the General Fund of Messenger Service Internship and to necessary trip expenses, as needed (passport, immunizations, insurance, etc).

8. I acknowledge that I am applying to the Messenger Service Internship under my own volition and in collaboration with my parent(s) or guardian(s). I acknowledge that all information, responses and references submitted in the entirety of the application are mine and no one else's. I understand that my application will be terminated and I will be dismissed from Messenger Service Internship if the integrity of my application is discovered to be compromised.
