Team South Africa

Connor, Sam, Linnae, and Alan will partner with Hope Prison Ministry and focus on relational ministry, with the main goal to stir conversations with prisoners. With the local church, they will serve in over 15 prisons, and work to show love and care to prisoners, correctional officers, victims, and families.

Connor Cantrell

Connor is a Junior from Boulder, CO, studying Business. Connor enjoys photography, computers, technology, and snowboarding. Through Messenger, Connor is excited to get out of his comfort zone and explore a new place while serving people across the globe.

Sam Fredricksmeyer

Sam is a Junior from Louisville, CO, studying Engineering. In his free time, he plays and watches sports and loves to be outdoors. Sam is excited for the adventure that accompanies Messenger, and to deepen his relationship with God through service to others.

Linnae Nahrgang

Linnae is a Freshman from El Paso, Texas, studying Leadership and Community Involvement. She has many hobbies including singing, reading and writing, cooking and baking, physical activity, anything outdoors, and watching movies. On her trip, she hopes to learn, grow closer to God, and push her boundaries on Messenger. Linnae is excited to expand her perspective in how God is working in our world, amidst the gifts and cultures of other countries.

Alan Balfe

Alan is a Sophomore from Centennial, CO studying Film Production. He enjoys almost all sports, singing, improv, volunteering, and watching SNL or movies. He is excited to see how God changes his life through Messenger this summer!
